Banyan Tree Villa — Sea Mist Green

A dark tiled pool stripped back and refinished in PebbleCrete Glass Sea Mist Green.

Banyan Tree Villa — the pool after the works

Location: Laguna, Phuket, Thailand
Completed: 2022
Type: Renovation
Our role: Pool renovation, with new filtration, water treatment and pool lighting
Finish: PebbleCrete Glass Sea Mist Green
Applied by: Pebble Pools

The work behind the setting.

The pool came to us tiled dark and gone green. Even on the dark tiles there was a great deal of rust to be seen, so we advised the owner to renew the water treatment as well. The old deck edge and the wall tiling came off, and the shell was taken back to a sound surface.

The new finish is PebbleCrete Glass Sea Mist Green, carried across the pool and its steps.

The filtration and water treatment set was renewed, and the lighting in the pool is all new. The pool was back in water in July 2022.

Sample images are illustrations. They give a general idea of colour, texture and particle size and show the finish wet; the sample triangle represents about 12 cm of surface. PebbleCrete is made from natural stone and glass and is applied by hand, so colour and the mix of particles vary from batch to batch and from pool to pool. Lighting, screens, water depth and surroundings also change how a finish looks. These images are not a substitute for a physical sample. Always confirm your choice with a current physical PebbleCrete sample, viewed wet. By agreement and at extra cost, we can make an on-site mock-up (test panel) before work starts for you to approve. The finished surface should be judged against the approved mock-up and physical sample, not against the images on this site.
