Private Villa, Layan — preparing the edge for the new coping

Location: Layan, Phuket, Thailand

Our role: New coping in PebbleCrete Classic French Grey around an existing tiled pool
Finish: PebbleCrete Classic French Grey
Applied by: Pebble Pools

The work behind the setting.

The pool kept its tiled interior. The old coping came off, and the edge around the pool was renewed in PebbleCrete Classic French Grey.

The photographs show the pool before the work and the edge being prepared for the new coping.

Sample images are illustrations. They give a general idea of colour, texture and particle size and show the finish wet; the sample triangle represents about 12 cm of surface. PebbleCrete is made from natural stone and glass and is applied by hand, so colour and the mix of particles vary from batch to batch and from pool to pool. Lighting, screens, water depth and surroundings also change how a finish looks. These images are not a substitute for a physical sample. Always confirm your choice with a current physical PebbleCrete sample, viewed wet. By agreement and at extra cost, we can make an on-site mock-up (test panel) before work starts for you to approve. The finished surface should be judged against the approved mock-up and physical sample, not against the images on this site.
