SAii Phi Phi

An island-resort pool on Phi Phi, relaid in Arctic Blue.

Location: Krabi, Thailand
Completed: 2023
Type: Renovation
Our role: Renovation of the resort pool, with the outdoor showers and tap panels in the same finish
Finish: PebbleCrete Supreme · Arctic Blue
Applied by: Pebble Pools

The work behind the setting.

The pool was relaid in PebbleCrete Supreme Arctic Blue — a white ground with blue glass flecks running through it. Part of the surface went down after dark under lamps, and shade sheets were rigged the length of the pool over the work.

The same finish runs beyond the water: the outdoor showers and the tap panels around the deck are ours too.

Sample images are illustrations. They give a general idea of colour, texture and particle size and show the finish wet; the sample triangle represents about 12 cm of surface. PebbleCrete is made from natural stone and glass and is applied by hand, so colour and the mix of particles vary from batch to batch and from pool to pool. Lighting, screens, water depth and surroundings also change how a finish looks. These images are not a substitute for a physical sample. Always confirm your choice with a current physical PebbleCrete sample, viewed wet. By agreement and at extra cost, we can make an on-site mock-up (test panel) before work starts for you to approve. The finished surface should be judged against the approved mock-up and physical sample, not against the images on this site.
