Beachfront Villa, Laguna — pool system and terrace
A beachfront villa in Laguna where the pool had turned green and the terrace and outdoor shower needed rebuilding. We rebuilt the pump room, restarted the pool and remodelled the terrace.

The work behind the setting.
When we were called in, in March 2026, the pool water had turned green and the overflow channel was full of leaves and the decorative pebbles laid over it. We inspected the pool and the pump room before deciding what to do.
The pump room was taken apart and rebuilt with a new filter, a new pump, new pipework and valves, a salt chlorinator and a new control panel. The pool was then cleaned and restarted. The last photograph was taken soon after the restart, while the water was still clearing.
On the terrace beside the pool, the old outdoor shower and the old floor finish were taken out. Where the screed had delaminated it was repaired, a new screed was cast, waterproofing went on over it, and the terrace was tiled in new large-format tiles. The drains were moved to new positions.
A freestanding stainless-steel shower now stands on its own dark-tiled pad in place of the old one. The outdoor unit of the air conditioner, which stood on the terrace and was in the way, was moved by air-conditioning contractors whom we arranged.
