NY Kids, Nai Yang

A free-form pool built from scratch for the children's area of a restaurant in Nai Yang.

Location: Nai Yang, Phuket, Thailand
Type: New installation
Our role: New pool built from scratch and finished, a playground set turned into water slides, with the columns, table tops and outdoor shower column
Finish: PebbleCrete Classic White Granite
Applied by: Pebble Pools

The work behind the setting.

Pebble Pools built this pool from scratch and finished it: the coping and the PebbleCrete Classic White Granite surface.

Next to the pool stood an ordinary playground set. We retrofitted it into water slides, with water running down the slides into the pool.

The columns, the table tops and the outdoor shower column around the pool carry the same PebbleCrete Classic White Granite finish.

Sample images are illustrations. They give a general idea of colour, texture and particle size and show the finish wet; the sample triangle represents about 12 cm of surface. PebbleCrete is made from natural stone and glass and is applied by hand, so colour and the mix of particles vary from batch to batch and from pool to pool. Lighting, screens, water depth and surroundings also change how a finish looks. These images are not a substitute for a physical sample. Always confirm your choice with a current physical PebbleCrete sample, viewed wet. By agreement and at extra cost, we can make an on-site mock-up (test panel) before work starts for you to approve. The finished surface should be judged against the approved mock-up and physical sample, not against the images on this site.
