Five-Villa Lagoon Pool

Pebble Pools renovated the pool serving a group of five private villas after its underground pump room had flooded and everything inside it was lost. The pump room was rebuilt: sand filters replaced the old DE filters, every pump and valve is new, an emergency drain was added, and an air conditioner keeps the room dry. The sand filters are filled with PebblePure glass filter media.

The control panels had stood underground and had rotted; they now sit outside in weatherproof boxes. The drainage pumps are new and wired by water level, so everything switches off if the water rises. Six new salt chlorinators and new lighting were fitted across the pool, and the jacuzzi was rebuilt completely — blower, pumps and jets — with a control panel of its own, which it never had before.

The photographs follow the work from the drained pool through the strip-out and render to the Cool Blue finish. The pool edge was raised, and the terrace around the pool was extended and finished in Sandy Beach across its whole area as part of the same job.
