Our projects / Bang Tao, Phuket

Private Residence, Chom Tawan

An infinity pool at Chom Tawan, taken back to concrete and refinished in Aquamarine, with Andaman Blue on the waterline and the steps.

Location: Bang Tao, Phuket, Thailand
Completed: 2023
Type: Renovation
Our role: Pool renovation
Finish: PebbleCrete Classic Aquamarine · PebbleCrete Glass Andaman Blue on the waterline, steps and jacuzzi bench
Applied by: Pebble Pools

The work behind the setting.

The old blue mosaic came off and the shell was taken back to sound concrete. A bondcoat went on, then PebbleCrete Classic Aquamarine through the pool. The waterline, the steps and the jacuzzi bench are PebbleCrete Glass Andaman Blue.

The pool runs out to an infinity edge above the valley; a glass panel is set into the wall beside the house.

Sample images are illustrations. They give a general idea of colour, texture and particle size and show the finish wet; the sample triangle represents about 12 cm of surface. PebbleCrete is made from natural stone and glass and is applied by hand, so colour and the mix of particles vary from batch to batch and from pool to pool. Lighting, screens, water depth and surroundings also change how a finish looks. These images are not a substitute for a physical sample. Always confirm your choice with a current physical PebbleCrete sample, viewed wet. By agreement and at extra cost, we can make an on-site mock-up (test panel) before work starts for you to approve. The finished surface should be judged against the approved mock-up and physical sample, not against the images on this site.
