A hillside pool on Koh Phangan finished in PebbleCrete Classic Aquamarine, with a mosaic fish set into the shallow ledge.

The work behind the setting.

This villa sits on a hillside on Koh Phangan, looking out over the sea. Pebble Pools set a mosaic fish into the shallow ledge and then applied the PebbleCrete finish to the floor, walls, steps and ledge.

The finish was trowelled by hand around the mosaic, then washed to expose the aggregate and cleaned before the pool was filled.

The photographs follow the job from the prepared shell and the mosaic layout through application, exposure and cleaning to the first water.
