The pool came to us in dark blue tile and leaking: water was escaping under the terrace and sideways under the house. The terrace had been cast over the original shell, and the overflow had later been rendered so high that the water stood level with the terrace. Pebble Pools took the render off the overflow and rebuilt it at a new, slightly lower level, and the leak stopped.

The tiling and the old render came off, the old waterfall was removed, and the steps were demolished and built new. The tanks were waterproofed, the automatic top-up and the drain channel were rebuilt — the channel recast with a new grating — and a salt chlorinator and a new pump were fitted; the sand filter is filled with PebblePure glass filter media. The pool and the steps are finished in PebbleCrete Classic Polar White.
