The work behind the setting.

The pool edge was broken out to reach the old pipework, the walls re-rendered and the bench formed, then the pool was laid in PebbleCrete Supreme Aqua Blue and filled.

The pool sits in a flood zone and was flooded. Its edge was raised by about 30–40 cm, making the pool much deeper, and all the drains were rebuilt. In the existing pump room, all the equipment was replaced, the pumps were raised to a higher level, and a UV steriliser was added. New steps, seats, and a jacuzzi were also built. The sand filter is filled with PebblePure glass filter media.
