The work behind the setting.

The pool and its round jacuzzi had been finished in green tile. We took the old finish off, broke the jacuzzi back to its shell and rebuilt it as a shallow ledge with seating, rendered the pool through, and laid PebbleCrete Classic Cool Blue over the lot.

The pool leaked badly through a poor original casting. It was waterproofed heavily, with foam injected into the leaks, and the joint between the floor and the walls, which leaked worst, was rebuilt with wide concrete fillets laid at 45 degrees, about 20 cm across.

New steps and a platform were built into the pool, the shallow end runs out as a curved ledge, and the finish meets a Sandy Beach Natural coping.
