The work behind the setting.

The pool edge was broken out to reach the old pipework, the walls re-rendered and the bench formed, then the pool was laid in PebbleCrete Supreme Aqua Blue and filled.

The pool sits in a flood zone and was flooded again and again. Its edge was raised by about 30–40 cm, which made the pool much deeper; all the drains were rebuilt, the system was reworked completely with the pumps moved up to a higher level, and new steps, seats and a jacuzzi were built.

The finished surface should be judged against the approved mock-up and physical sample, not against the images on this site.
