Material choices for your new pool edge
Whether your existing edge is flaking sandwash, weathered sandstone, chipped ceramic tile or loose marble, we can assess replacement without stripping a sound pool interior. You choose the material and edge profile that suits your terrace, and we handle the coping replacement.

Protecting the ring beam and pool water
We inspect the concrete ring beam and adjoining pool tiles before agreeing the coping replacement scope.
Coping replacement on a sound skimmer pool can be possible with lowered water. Inspection confirms draining requirements and protection of the pool water and equipment.
- Sounding and checking the concrete ring beam for cracks or hollow render
- Waterproof preparation along the beam top before bedding the new coping
- Skimmers and overflow channels masked against dust and adhesive debris
- Clean junction sealed between the new coping, the pool wall and the terrace
When the water is lowered and when we drain
Perimeter coping on a skimmer pool is normally replaced with the water lowered. If your pool has a wet-edge overflow channel that also needs rebuilding, or if you want to refinish the steps and interior at the same time, our inspection will show whether full draining is better.
We coordinate noisy removal work with villa managers or hotel engineers, keep walkways tidy, and agree the programme for the individual project.

Questions we are asked
Can you replace the coping without redoing the inside of the pool?
Yes, if the interior finish is sound, we remove only the coping and leave the pool lining intact. Our inspection confirms the joint between the coping and the top tile row.
What is cast PebbleCrete coping?
We cast reinforced coping units in PebbleCrete in bullnose, square or custom shapes. This lets you match the pool edge to our exposed-aggregate finishes or create a contrasting border.
Will debris from removing the old stone clog the pool pipes?
We include debris control and protection of the existing pool equipment in the coping replacement scope. Inspection confirms the arrangements for your pool.
