Upgrades & repairs for hotels and villas · Pool systems & design

We supply and install heat pumps that both heat and cool your pool water. You control them from your phone, by schedule or from your smart-home system.

Who it is for

  • Pools that feel cold in the rainy season, especially white and light pools
  • Pools in shade
  • Infinity pools with a long overflow edge, and cliffside or cantilever pools open to the wind
  • Dark pools that overheat in March–May
  • Rental villas, where guests expect warm water every day of the year

What you get

  • Heating and cooling in one unit. A full DC inverter heat pump, sized for your pool.
  • App control. Set the temperature and timers, check the water temperature from anywhere, switch on a quiet night mode.
  • Proper installation. The unit goes after the filter and before the salt chlorinator, with a bypass. It has its own breaker and RCD and is placed outdoors with free airflow.
  • Set-up and handover. We set the temperature and schedule with you and connect the app.
  • Service. An annual check, available on request.

How it works

  • Survey. Pool size, overflow edge, shade, plant room, power supply.
  • Proposal. The unit, where it goes, the price of the equipment and installation, and an estimate of the monthly electricity cost for your pool.
  • Installation. Usually one to two days, plus electrical work if a supply upgrade is needed.
  • Handover. We start the unit and set the app.

What it costs

Approximate prices, including VAT:

  • Unit with heating and cooling:
  • small pools of up to about 25 m³ (for example 6 × 3 m): around 75,000 THB;
  • typical villa pools of about 40–75 m³ (8 × 4 to 12 × 4 m): around 90,000–120,000 THB;
  • large pools of about 90 m³ and more (15 m and longer): around 190,000–220,000 THB.
  • Installation: usually 30,000–40,000 THB on top, and 45,000–60,000 THB for large units. It depends on the distance to the plant room and the electrical panel.
  • Electrical work – a new power line from the main panel, a meter upgrade or a three-phase supply – is quoted separately after the survey.
  • Warranty: the unit is covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Our installation work is guaranteed for 1 year.

The exact price follows after the survey.

What it costs to run

Running cost depends on the pool size, shade, overflow edge and the temperature you want. Approximate monthly electricity cost for a typical 8 × 4 m villa pool at the PEA household rate:

  • rainy season, holding 30 °C: about 1,800 THB in the open, about 2,500 THB with an infinity edge;
  • hot season, cooling a dark pool to 29 °C: about 2,700 THB.

Figures for other sizes are in our article Pool climate control in Phuket.

Honestly: climate control uses electricity. It is a comfort choice, not an eco solution. We help you keep the bill down: a cover at night, smart timers, the PEA time-of-use tariff, and solar panels.

Only heating or only cooling? Units that only heat, and chillers that only cool, are also available. They suit hot tubs and cold plunge pools and can cost less to buy; they do not use less electricity.

Ask for a proposal

Send us your pool size, a few photos and the location. We will reply with a first estimate: which unit fits, roughly what it will cost and what it will cost to run. The final proposal follows after the survey.
