Jacuzzis, air massage and hot or cold plunge pools

Pebble Pools builds and rebuilds pool jacuzzis, air massage zones and temperature-controlled plunge pools for villas, hotels and spas in Phuket. We handle the shell, insulation, jets, chillers, heat pumps and PebbleCrete finish.

Built-in jacuzzis, jet rebuilds and air massage

In many older villas and resorts, the jacuzzi sits unused because the blower has failed, the pipework leaks or the controls corroded underground. We rebuild dead spa systems or construct new jacuzzis inside or beside your pool.

  • Building new jacuzzis into the pool or as a connected extension, or converting an unwanted jacuzzi into steps or a shallow ledge
  • Rebuilding non-working jacuzzis from scratch with new jets, air blowers, booster pumps and a dedicated outdoor switchboard
  • Installing air massage beds in shallow ledges and seating zones that you switch on from a control app on your phone
  • Finishing seats, steps and spa walls in smooth PebbleCrete or tile

Hot and cold plunge pools with chillers and heat pumps

We build dedicated cold plunges and hot plunges for private villas and wellness centres, designed to hold steady temperatures in tropical heat.

  • Thermal insulation for plunge shells and pipework to help manage temperature and condensation
  • Sizing chillers for cold plunges and heat pumps for hot plunges, whether run continuously in a spa or switched on ahead of private sauna sessions
  • Placing chiller and heat pump units away from relaxation areas to keep equipment noise down
  • Fitting UV and sanitiser systems for commercial spa plunges, or salt chlorinators for lightly used private villa plunges

Draining, pool use and how we organise the work

Whether the main pool can stay open depends on how the spa or plunge connects to the pool shell and circulation. An on-site inspection decides this, and the programme is agreed for the individual project.

  • Pool stays in use or water is lowered: replacing air blowers, booster pumps, chillers, heat pumps or switchboards in the plant room, or building a standalone plunge pool on the terrace
  • Pool must be drained: building an in-pool jacuzzi or air massage ledge, replacing cast-in jet fittings, insulating a basin or applying a new PebbleCrete finish
  • Who decides what: we check your electrical supply, plant space and how you plan to use the spa or plunge before agreeing the equipment specification

What to send for a first discussion

Send us a few details so we can review your spa or plunge project before visiting.

  • Photos of the existing pool, jacuzzi or proposed plunge area, plus the pump room and electrical board
  • The property location and approximate pool or plunge size
  • What you want changed, such as rebuilding dead jets, adding app-controlled air massage or installing a chilled plunge

Questions we are asked

Can a cold plunge chiller run only when we use the sauna?

Yes, for a private villa plunge used occasionally, you can switch the chiller on ahead of your sauna session rather than running it continuously. During our inspection we size the chiller output and shell insulation around how you plan to use it.

Can you remove an old jacuzzi that we no longer want?

Yes, if an existing jacuzzi is never used, we can strip out its old blowers and pipes and rebuild that corner as wide steps or a shallow lounge ledge. This simplifies the pump room and gives you more usable space in the pool.

Does rebuilding jacuzzi jets require draining the pool?

Replacing blowers, pumps and switchboards in the plant room can be done while the pool stays full. If we need to break out the wall to replace embedded jet bodies or refinish the spa interior, the pool or spa zone must be drained after inspection.

Tell us where the pool is and what you want changed.
